SGV Cryogenic Globe Valves

Distinguishing Features of SGV Valves
- Valves with zero leakage, even for Helium and flammable gases like Hydrogen and LNG at their saturation temperatures. All SGV valves have PCTFE discs and are designed and built to assure ZERO leakage, well exceeding the requirements of ASME, ISO, and EN Standards.
- The Valves for flammable fluids, such as Hydrogen and LNG, are built with Graphite Seals for fire resistance, while assuring ZERO leakage without the need for adjustment of the bonnet nut after limited service.
- It is a constant burden in the field for operating personnel to retighten the packing nut as it tends to loosen with rotary motion of the valve stem when the valve is opened and closed. There have been cases of bonnet seals leaking and raising the probability of explosion of operating compartments. SGV has eliminated this concern through innovative and efficient design.
- Operating personnel have expressed a desire to have valves which will not vibrate open in transit. There have been cases of valves vibrating open and causing explosion and fire in flammable fluid service. SGV Valves are designed and built to prevent the valve from vibrating open.
